Service offerings


Shopping with peace of mind

To provide peace of mind when you buy from us, we offer a range of warranties and a straightforward returns service in the event of a product being damaged etc.


Returns

GGM Gastro gives you the option of returning goods within 14 days of receipt.

Please note that GGM Gastro provides its returns service on a voluntary basis. A statutory right of revocation of 14 days applies exclusively to consumers and not to commercial buyers.

Please contact our customer service team at reklamation@ggmgastro.com to exchange your goods. They will provide you with a return slip which must be affixed to the outside of the goods or the returned package so that the return can be processed. Consignments returned without a return slip may be subject to significant processing delays.

For goods sent by a forwarding agent, we are happy to arrange return transportation at your expense. Please contact customer service for details of the cost. For insurance reasons, you must always submit a photograph of the securely packaged goods prior to transportation by a forwarding agent.

If you are returning an item which was delivered by DPD or UPS, you may return the goods using a delivery service of your choice. Differently than usual you receive a refund of the purchase price with us after receipt of the commodity under following conditions.

 

Terms of the returns service

  • The return must be announced at the latest 14 days after receipt of the commodity with ggmgastro. You can do this via the e-mail address reklamation@ggmgastro.com or via our telephone customer service.
  • The return must be confirmed by a service employee of ggmgastro (in writing).
  • The goods must be unused and undamaged. If the product consists of different parts, the product must be complete.
  • The goods must be packed in the original shipping packaging so that they are safe for transport.
  • The goods are packed as original (protective films, protective materials, lashing straps, etc.).
  • Special constructions, B-goods, articles procured individually at the customer's request and spare parts are excluded from the return service.
  • The costs and the transport risk for the return transport are borne by the customer.
  • Transactions based on a leasing contract (e.g., through the ALBIS Leasing Group) are excluded from the right of return.

 

Processing fee

  • The handling fee includes the costs for receiving, inspecting and storing the goods.
  • If the return is requested up to and including 7 days after receipt of the goods and then confirmed, ggmgastro does not charge a handling fee.
  • From the 8th day on, 25% of the net value of the returned item (but no more than 120,- EUR) will be deducted from the refund amount for the processing of the return.

Types of warranty

Replacement parts warranty

1-year manufacturer’s warranty on replacement parts from date of invoice. Gas-operated appliances, and those not fitted with a plug, must be connected by a technician. During initial commissioning of refrigerators and freezers, the parameters must be set by a technician. Non-compliance shall result in the warranty becoming void. The technician’s invoice must be retained for the duration of the warranty period.

The following materials are excluded from warranty claims: Glass materials, seals, sealing material, ceramics, fire clay, and wear parts such as thermal elements.

 

1-year full warranty or 2-year full warranty

1-year warranty from the invoice date. Gas-operated appliances, and those not fitted with a plug, must be connected by a technician. During initial commissioning of refrigerators and freezers, the parameters must be set by a technician. Non-compliance shall result in the warranty becoming void. The technician’s invoice must be retained for the duration of the warranty period. Agreement to cover the cost of the tradesperson contracted by GGM Gastro International GmbH within the warranty period. The following materials are excluded from warranty claims: Glass materials, seals, sealing material, ceramics, fire clay, and wear parts such as thermal elements.


Replacement parts warranty: no additional cost, free of charge

1-year full warranty: Surcharge on the net value of goods + VAT
2-year full warranty: Surcharge on the net value of goods + VAT

The following countries are excluded from the full warranty: Sweden, Russia, Poland, Switzerland, Denmark, Norway, Finland, and countries outside of Europe.
